Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, Kristen was the first to go to an audition. She got the role on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was 13 and she got her first role in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Now, Bell also begins private acting lessons. Bell had a role that was not credited of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical as well as drama. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she won the part as Dorothy. Bell studied in musical theater at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and the credits only depict her. Bell was part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
